I have been an artist all my life & only started taking it seriously when I earned extra money sketching portraits for classmates in middle school.
I met Scott in 2000 at Kenny’s Castaways, a lounge he bartended for in the East Village in New York City while I was earning a living as a Makeup Artist. Even then he’d been selling his artwork to collectors in NYC - but I never saw any of his work - he was just my handsome sexy boyfriend. Lol!
Our relationship only lasted about 6 months - he wasn’t ready for a serious relationship. We met again a year later & that time I wasn’t ready. Fast forward 11 years later after we’d gone our separate ways & he found me again after all those years on Facebook of all places! Lol! We married 6 months later on December 5th, 2013.
Since his death I’ve taken the steps to fulfill his dream for me & learned to paint. I’m not only completing some of his unfinished work, but I also plan to unveil some originals of my own on this site in the near future - opening up the possibility of commissions as well.
In the meantime, please enjoy Scott’s beautiful, whimsical & eclectic vision of our world. I hope you find something you like. Each one has a story & I know a bit of each one - I’d be happy to share them with you - but I think each piece stands on its own & will inspire you to create your own story.
Scott loved the flaws in nature which gave each plant, each animal & each person their own character & beauty. Enjoy the little wonders he’s hidden in each piece & find that hidden flaw - that hidden message that creates the beauty that draws you in.
